The Innovation Agency has a crucial role in the spread and adoption of innovation across the region but we can't do it alone! We organise a community of Innovation Scouts to support a culture of innovation in health care.
This is an opportunity for a senior clinician or manager to work with like-minded individuals to address the challenges in adopting innovative practices and technologies. It helps us to provide a consistent and collaborative approach to rolling out innovations and service improvements across the North West Coast.
The role of an Innovation Scout is to encourage a culture of innovation within their organisations and to proactively encourage the adoption of evidence-based innovations.
There is a comprehensive support package which includes workshops, bespoke support, coaching and training.
Structured in approach and open to new ideas; seeks information and evidence to develop options and to inform actions.
Does what is right and what is necessary to champion innovation.
Works with, supports and inspires others to make a positive difference to patient safety, outcomes and experiences.
Engages with and shows appreciation and compassion for the needs and circumstances of others.
Focuses attention and efforts on agreeing and delivering realistic improvements that enhance the work of colleagues and deliver better patient care.
