Percolation and innovation: Cheshire business breakfast for healthcare ideas
The Innovation Agency, the Academic Health Science Network for the North West Coast, is inviting small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with innovative ideas in health and social care to attend a free Healthcare Business Breakfast in Chester on Thursday 7 December 2017.
This business breakfast provides an opportunity for SMEs to hear about some of the issues that NHS staff face and some examples of where partnerships with business have been a success in the spreading and adoption of innovations.
Indi Singh, Innovation Agency Commercial Programme Manager for Cheshire and Warrington said: “You can meet, chat and learn from a variety of people across the NHS, academia, business support and a number of industries in Cheshire, all with an interest in products being developed to improve the health and social care market. We want to get people in the room with innovations to make patient care better, safer, faster and more cost-effective”.
Topics will include; support opportunities, finance and funding, potential for collaboration and networking.
This business breakfast event forms part of the work Cheshire West and Chester Council is doing to support the Health Business Sector and takes place at Queen’s Park Business School, Handbridge Campus, University of Chester.
