This webinar marked the official launch of the Cheshire and Merseyside Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH) Service, hosted by Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and supported by the Innovation Agency. The pilot service, currently operating as a remote service, was established to provide ‘proof of concept’ to support the commissioning of an integrated FH Service for the population of Cheshire and Merseyside, with an agreed care pathway and standards for the delivery of care; this should drive a real transformation in the health outcomes of patients who have inherited FH.
