Our community of Innovation Scouts supports healthcare professionals across the North West Coast dedicated to encouraging innovation, stimulating ideas, and driving a culture of innovation within their own organisations.
The Innovation Agency currently supports more than 70 Innovation Scouts across NHS trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), primary care and academia.
The role of a Scout is to actively encourage a culture of innovation within their organisations by promoting and encouraging the adoption of evidence-based innovations, integrating innovation as a core process and working to embed innovation in their organisation’s values and behaviours
We provide opportunities to connect with like-minded people and to learn from world leaders in innovation, in both public and private sectors. We organise networking events, workshops, visits and mentoring.
We host the North West Coast Q Community on behalf of the Health Foundation, bringing together people with improvement skills in our region. We support recruitment, provide networking opportunities both face to face and online, and offer other themed learning exchanges driven by community members.
