We were delighted to welcome 150 delegates to the Bridging the Gap conference on 22 September in Liverpool. Comprising healthcare SMEs, clinical entrepreneurs and established innovators, the AHSN Network's Bridging the Gap conference really was an event not to be missed!
Through a series of engaging presentations, workshops and panel sessions, Bridging the Gap aligned our commitment to support the growth and development of innovation and help to navigate the complexities of working with the NHS.
Delegates joined us to learn more about the role of the AHSN Network and how the wider landscape can play a part in their innovation journey and how beneficial it is to be part of this dynamic community.
The event provided attendees with advice on accessing the health and care marketplace and the challenges commonly encountered in the latter stages of the innovation pathway. Successful innovators who have already been supported by the AHSN Network, also shared their journey and experiences.
Keynote addresses were delivered by Lindsey Hughes, Director of Research and Engagement for Innovation, Research and Life Sciences Group, NHS England and StJohn Crean, Pro Vice Chancellor at UCLan.
